A Still More Glorious Dawn - music: Carl Sagan remix by Symphony of Science

I wanted to make this vid literally for years, ever since the first Reboot movie came out. I made this using a lot of preview footage and some cam footage from the second movie, so once I have the time I really want to take a weekend and remaster it.

BUT until then, I still want to archive it on my blog. I am pretty proud of it.

Eee, thank you! :D That was such an inspiring show! And my first (appalling) revelation that "slave!fic" could plausibly become relevant to our real-life future.

Um, but that's more sobering than I meant it to be in a happy first conversation, so sorry about that. Yay Almost Human! And yay Star Trek! ♥ (When will they go back for the whales in the new timeline?!)

It was such a shame Almost Human got canceled! So much potential T__T Love Karl Urban. (And you KNOW Karl Urban is down to go rescue the whales in the next Star Trek movie!!)

YES I visited the "renewal scorecard" at least weekly while it was on to see what the chances were of it coming back for a second season, and I was so sad when "likely to be renewed" fell through!

Karl Urban has been such a gift to the new Trek... I don't need them to be like the original actors to enjoy the movies, but wow - it's so amazing to see him act like DeForest Kelley.

He's so wonderful. And it always makes me feel good to have a Real Legit Trekkie in the cast, fighting the good fight to stay true to the spirit of the original. Love him
